I say since they are on your LAN, you should ARP spoof them. This can lead to all sorts of possibility. You can get their passwords for social networking sites, forums, and even.......pause for effect.........online banking information, that is if they do their banking online! Then basically do what you want with this information. I have heard of brute force programs that auto-install keyloggers or format hard drives on remote machines, but I have never used one.

Bottom line, my suggestion would be to use the most direct method. Kill their parents, chop them up, and put them in some chili. Then feed this delectable stew to them. If you are a real dick, make them pay for the chili!

Ok, So..me and a co-worker were talkin about encrypting a HD. He's been using truecrypt..Kurt tell us how this one works. he said hes gettin almost no performance loss which is suprising me. hes got a 40 character p/w with 256bit encryption

Encryption doesn't slow the computer all that much (minimal differences are still there). The initial encryption isn't exactly fast, but that depends on how much data you're encrypting to start with. Oh, and it does take up minimal system resources as it unencrypts on the fly. All of these "minimal" references are providing you're using quality encryption software. Your milage may vary.
Honestly, it's a good idea if you have stuff you don't want others to see or have some torrents that you want hidden when your hard drive/computer crashes and needs repair (but that never happens, right? lol). Otherwise it's just a layer of extra that you potentially don't need.

If you're on a Mac, use OS X's built-in FileVault feature under Security in System Preferences. This encrypts your home (user) folder when turned on. If you're worried about certain applications not being encrypted... don't forget OS X can run applications from any folder on the hard drive, and having your encrypted applications separate from your public applications is actually good practice in the security world.
I'm not sure what's the best option for PC...

So building my mom a new computer. Been searching for parts. Found some great deals. Well i was looking for a heat sink for the processor and found lots of good deals, reading lots of comments on products. I came across one comment that just made me die laughing. I had to share it with someone, figured this place would be the best.....

"I love this fan... actually Im just kidding I hate it. I bought it thinking it will cool my CPU but to my surprise I found out that it did the reverse. Lovely isnt it. It ended up pushing back all the hot air into my CPU. My temps are also really good running at about 90 degrees Celsius. I could probably bake some eggs on it and make myself some dinner. Anyways it never came with any thermal paste so I put it on bare and it started smoking. I fried my whole computer for the 6th time using your products. You have no idea how much pain I have. I have spent over $8000 to build myself the same computer all over again. Im getting pretty tired cause its all the same every time. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS FAN because it does not cool properly and you might just end up in the hospital after your computer erupts into flames."

    A moron i know.

Ok so i got one more. These newbs are hilarious. Im not sure why i even looked for windows xp when i own a copy but i did and found this as a review...

"Please don't waste your money on this OS. I bought it and used it to overwrite windows vista. When I did, I had no drivers, internet connection, audio or any of that stuff. All I had was windows xp with nothing else like drivers and all the things you need with an operating system. This disc sucks. BIG TIME !"
